Inshore, Nearshore & Snapper Trips with Capt. Joey Lemoine
Welcome to Cast On The Other Side Charters, Capt. Joey Lemoine's operation out of Bridgeside Marina in Grand Isle.
People come to Grand Isle for the speckled trout and redfish in the bays and channels, and for the red snapper, mangrove snapper, and cobia waiting on the nearshore wrecks.
The fishing is why you come. The beach, the food, and the local hospitality are why you stay a little longer.
Whether you're bringing the kids for their first trip or heading out for snapper, there's a trip built for you below.

What to Expect Fishing Grand Isle
Grand Isle puts trout and redfish in the same bays and grass lines trip after trip, with flounder, sheepshead, and black drum mixed in depending on the season.
Past the pass, red snapper, mangrove snapper, and cobia hold on the nearshore wrecks and structure in the Gulf of America for anglers who want to run a little further.
It's also a lot more than a fishing trip. Grand Isle is a real barrier island with a real beach, marina restaurants worth the drive, and small town hospitality that keeps families coming back every year.
Fish in the morning, hit the beach in the afternoon, and eat well before you call it a night.

Our Boats
We fish out of a 25 foot NauticStar bay boat rigged for four anglers, with rods, reels and lures ready to go before you step aboard.
Every trip runs with a first mate on board, so you've got two sets of hands working to keep your lines tight.
